Konecranes Traineeship Journey
Last week my Traineeship at Konecranes came to an end. I worked for four months in the OT (Operational Technology) Cybersecurity team 🧑🏼💻🚨
Here are my thoughts:
🌄 A lot of new initiatives going on, so I got to be a Trainee in a changing and growing environment.
👨🏼🏭 Securing factory environments in an enabling way has interesting challenges and some of the needed solutions do not yet exist. We used modern technologies to develop processes for both network and asset management.
🌎 Working in “Global” was new, and I am thankful for the great guidance that made it easy. I was interested in doing as many site visits as possible, and this was granted. Site visits across Europe with experienced colleagues provided understanding of the cybersecurity needs in different factories.
🙏🏻 I want to thank everyone I had a chance to meet and work with during this summer. Special thanks to Vilma Blomberg, our team boss and my mentor for her great support.
Lastly, I am happy to announce that I will continue to work within the same team at Konecranes alongside my studies. Now as a contracted Engineer, OT security services development🌟
